What happened: Oh, my. Just hung up from the most uncomfortable phone conversation I've ever had. I had applied for and was approved to get a Tropical Smoothie gift card "worth up to $***". Today I found out they wont tell me the amount of the gift card until after I listen to a sales spiel on a condo at Williamsburg, VA. Years ago I was subjected to such a speil, actually in Williamsburg. Then and today, they both used nonstop, high pressure tactics. And they both refused to honor my repeatedly having to say "No, not interested", and "No". Even after I raised my voice a bit for emphasis, they continued to badger me with their high pressure. So afyer realizing this was an unending cycle of my refusing to hear the spiel, and their insisting i had to listen to it before they'd tell me *.how much my gift card is worth, and *. activate it, I finally hung up. I'm surprised and dismayed that Tropical Smoothie is part of this. Or, are you? Was that a scam? Is there a way I may have my Tropical Smoothie gift card as was advertised in the text sent to me by Tropical Smoothie?*Thank you.**Sandy Marks *N. Chesterfield, VA
What happened: I call the local tropical smoothie in Greenville to find out how much was the delivery charges, was told to order through the app. I ordered through the app and call the same tropical smoothie to make sure they received it. They told me they had, I asked when it would be delivered she proceeded to tell me it would not be delivered we would have to pick it up. I asked her why since the app had charged a delivery charge she said the app messes up sometime. I ask to speak to the manager and she said they don't work on weekends. When I left work to pick up the order I asked her to remove the delivery charges she said she could not. When I received the food it was cold and the smoothies were melting. I would like full refund or at least the delivery charges removed since I had to go pick it up.
What happened: Hello, my name is Theodore Ash,**On ** June I went to Tropical cafe to purchase a Caribbean jerk wrap and an acai berry boost. the clerk gave me a receipt for $**.**. On handing her the receipt back she realized her mistake but wasn't able to give me a refund. she called the manager of the store (Cafe NC***) and talked with the manager, who told her to give me a receipt, and She would get back with me. I purchased the items with another charge of $**.**. I checked my account on a regular basis to see if it had been deposited. No deposit. So I go back to the store about a week later and talk with the manager, who tells me that the IT Dept. was checking to see what may have gone wrong. She took my phone number and said that she would get in touch with me. I haven't heard from her and I tried calling her Saturday ** July **** and today ** July. **I think I've been very patient with this situation, and I don't understand why I couldn't have been refunded on the spot.*The money was debited from my account, I would like to have the money put back in my account.*i"m not interested in a gift card.**I do have receipt for both purchases: $**.** and $**.**.**Thanks,*Theodore Ash*Ph: *** *** *****email:*****@***.com
